Prices where about the same under Bush other then when he dropped it for elections... Cant say i am happy with it either way, but no need to spin it.
At least O isn't pulling nonsense like tapping the strategic reserve every time gas prices spike. Next time you see a high gas price, try yelling at your neighbor who drives a Suburban, that's where the fault lies.
Actually this time around, it isn't.
There's a glut of oil on the market. Even with cracked out gambling addicts doing the futures trading, and saber rattling with Iran going on, we can't keep crude above $100 a barrel.
There's a glut of refinery capacity in the US, even without there being a shortage of crude. Not only are we buying a LOT less, so are other nations, since we export the majority of our refined petroleum products.
There's a glut of gasoline. I see storage towers for refined products every day. I can't recall the last time I've seen them running so near capacity.
I think a big part of it are folks driving less and the very mild winter we have had.
Another problem I suspect is that the banks are pulling the same game they have been with futures timing for metals. They bought into the storage business, and are allowed to hold distribution under existing law for a duration long enough to game the market.

Doc mac is right, BO keeps a lid on the petroleum reserve The Democrats had to fight tooth and and nail to assure the reserves were created, filled, and sealed for emergency use only. But then along comes neocon people like Oprah Winfrey in her gas guzzling jet (she could be kind enough to take Michele O shopping), and Barbara Streisand in her energy sucking palace. The limousine conservatives are especially revolting as they drive cars designed to burn more western oil. This whole oil problem could be easily resolved if people like those mentioned above would roller skate to work because you will be working 24/7 with no overtime in order to match with "third world" countries like "Goodbye cruel world" Chinese workers.

And as you can see the prices have fluctuated. When President Obama took office the gas prices had temporarily dropped to their lowest point since President Bush had taken office. But under President Bush's last 4 years the gas prices were very much in parity with what they have been over President Obama's term.
President Obama doesn't control gas prices. And he is a US citizen. And he isn't a Muslim (and there's nothing wrong with that anyhow - at least no more than being any other religion). And he's not a socialist. Find something real to peg on him.

No one ever said that every American has to approve of whomever happens to be president at the moment. I was no fan of Obama's predecessor, but for things that were real, like the hurricane generating machine he used to attack New Orleans and all those WMD that that we found in Iraq but the MSM refuses to report on. Stuff like that. 
He is a us citizen, but he was a muslim and not a natural born citizen. If his parents were both us citizens, than he would be a natural born. His own past proves he was a muslim. Not that black liberation theology is very christian either.
He was born in Hawaii. That makes him a natural born.
And he was never a Muslim. His father was a non-practicing Muslim. His mother was a Christian and she raised him as a Christian. His mother taught in Indonesia and he attended school there. He has never prayed in a mosque - therefore not a Muslim.

The price of gas now is more than infidels can pay, because we and BO have halted western oil production growth so that you will have to BUY MORE ARAB oil while losing taxpayers dollars on failing green products. No sweat though. We and BO got a piece of that loan action.
